At the following Links, you can download a BOINC Project, or several of them, that you are interested in. These
Scientific Projects lets you donate computing power, with your home computer, to Scientific Research Projects such
as:
Stardust@Home: A distributed search by volunteers for interstellar dust in the Stardust interstellar dust collector. We are
seeking volunteers to help us to search for these tiny samples of matter from the galaxy. Volunteers are critical to the success
of this project. Please help us find the first samples of contemporary Stardust ever collected. Click on the Link below and
volunteer. You can use your computer for this Scientific Project.
You can join the new SETI/BOINC Project and use your computer to analyze data for science. I suggest you read the info before
downloading, so you have an idea about it. If you want any help email me at lehat1@yahoo.com or lehat10@lycos.com Best wishes
in the search. Lee
Give your computer some variety - check out Rosetta@home. This new BOINC-based project aims to solve the ab initio protein
structure prediction problem, and to design new chemical catalysts and potential HIV vaccines. Participants who found the
lowest energy structures have already been acknowledged in a scientific paper describing the results. Rosetta@home needs your
help to determine the 3-dimensional shapes of proteins in research that may ultimately lead to finding cures for some major
human diseases. By running the Rosetta program on your computer while you don't need it you will help us speed up and extend
our research in ways we couldn't possibly attempt without your help. You will also be helping our efforts at designing new
proteins to fight diseases such as HIV, Malaria, Cancer, and Alzheimer's (See our Disease Related Research for more information).
Please join us in our efforts!
When you finish your S@h BOINC download, here is a Link to join our SETI@home Team by clicking on this text. I ask you to
join our Team by typing in the window that will appear and fill in the required info when you get there.
You are also welcome to join our seti2 Group at Yahoo. There is a Forum to post and read Messages as well as Photos & Links
to look over. There the Moderators and Members join together to ask and or answer questions about the BOINC Projects, Astronomy
and Space. We are a family type Group, so please be considerate of others. It is NOT about UFO's: NO Spam, or Repeated Self
Promotion, No profanity. Please read our Posting Guidelines in the "Welcome" heading and the message here at this web site:
